Objective of the Role

Reporting to the Director, Hotel and Accommodation Manager will lead the housekeeping function in our hotel, and ensure that our guests experience the highest quality of room’s standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor Standard of work, ensuring the highest quality.

To ensure the smooth running of accommodation facilities, including the safety and wellbeing of guests, tenants and residents

To develop and build positive relationships with residents, tenants and guests

To control a budget and finances, manage stock levels and order supplies

Delegate the rooms’ volume to the accommodation / housekeeping employees.

Develop employees to be ready for the next step in their careers.

Ensure compliance with all H&S and HACCP regulations both internally and externally.

Monitor the cleanliness of all public areas in the hotel including the conference suite and leisure facilities.

To supervise the work of cleaning staff and ensure standards are maintained

To make sure adequate security for the building is provided

To get involved in the building and refurbishment of residential accommodation.

You will also be required to liaise with the Maintenance department to ensure the hotel standards are consistently high.

Requirements

Experience within an Accommodation Department at supervisory level is highly desirable

People leadership and development experience.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Flexibility to assist in other departments should the need arise.

Salary

£27000.00 to £30000.00 depending on experience.
